Am I allowed to bring hunting and sporting weapons?

With TUI fly you can take along your hunting and sporting weapons as follow.

Basic rules

  • Weapons are transported in the hold only, never in the cabin
  • Weapons must never be loaded
  • Weapons must be packed separately
  • You must have all necessary permits for Belgium and your destination

Permitted ammunition

  • Only ammunition type UN 0012 and UN 0014
  • Maximum 5 kg per person for personal use
  • Must be securely packaged (cardboard or plastic box) separate from the weapon
  • Other types of ammunition are prohibited

Registration procedure

  1. Contact us before your flight via this REQUEST FORM 
  2. Send your permit, weight and type of ammunition
  3. Inform staff at check-in that you are carrying a weapon
  4. Security will perform an additional check

Weight

  • If your weapon exceeds the allowed baggage weight, you will pay for excess weight
  • Note: one piece of baggage may weigh a maximum of 32 kg
